What is DoubleLyrics?
DoubleLyrics (Double Lyrics) is a new kind of lyric search engine. Founded in August of 2010, DoubleLyrics helps you find any lyric to any genre in no time. Quickly search for any song you want and you'll see the artist or band you're looking for, and other related lyrics to the song you're looking for. Users can review and rate songs, or submit their own version of the lyrics. Currently we support about 5 world languages other than English, such as Spanish, French, and German, as we grow our goal is to support every major language out there and be the best lyric search engine. Lyrics - singular form of lyric - are a set of words that formulate a song. The author or creator of lyrics is called a lyricist or a lyrist, and the lyricist of traditional musical forms such as Opera is known as a librettist. The interpretation of lyrics can be absolute. Lyrics can be abstract, some almost unintelligible, and, in many of these cases, their absoluteness emphasizes form, articulation, meter, and the symmetry of expression.
